mk248 san romano var ursprunglign ett verk tre pannaer pa uppdrgn av buset di mrfivi. detta ar del av den bogra pannan som visar bur florentinarna 1432 baren fean sienna. perspektiv forkortningen vdllade tvekinde tveklost uccllo vissa estetiska problem ocb ljus ocb skugga kravde battre bantering. men de subtilt fargade monstren av lansar, bjalmar ocb scb scbabrak ovanfor en skog av basban ar sig en bebaglig design som bekeaftar uccellos osvikliga oga for de minta dekorativa detaljer.

mk248 uccello berattar bistorien om sankt goran pa sant gotiskt mamer. den tappre riddarens linjerar med det bakomliggande ovdersmolen, nagot som skulle kunna signifiera gudomlig intervea. samtidigt skjuter lansen framat. in i bildplanet ocb bjalper till att etablera ett tredimensionellt utymme runt viket den eleganta ungmon. som inte langre ar i nod, planerar att leda den besegrade draken liken likt en sallskapsbund.

Italian Early Renaissance Painter, 1397-1475
Italian painter, draughtsman, mosaicist and designer of stained glass. His work vividly illustrates the principal issues of Florentine art during the first half of the 15th century. Trained within the tradition of the Late Gothic style, he eventually became a leading exponent of the application of linear perspective based on the mathematical system established by Filippo Brunelleschi and Leon Battista Alberti.
